Coaching Team

Amalia Edevane (she/her): Head Coach NPLW
We are thrilled to welcome Amalia back to the club where she first started her football journey! Since then, Amalia gained experience playing and coaching in both South Australia and the ACT. As an AFC-licensed coach with qualifications and experience in both outfield and goalkeeping, Amalia brings knowledge and energy that will enhance ANUWFC's NPL program.
Most recently, Amalia was a member of the coaching staff of the ACT team at the National Youth Championships. This year, alongside her coaching duties at ANUWFC, Amalia will be pursuing her UEFA licenses. We are excited to support her as she continues her coaching development in Australia and abroad.
Amalia believes creating a positive and supportive culture is the foundation for player development and, ultimately, success. She believes players should feel safe to make mistakes, learn from them, and embrace opportunities for growth.
In 2025, one of Amalia’s key goals at ANUWFC is to foster an environment where players are encouraged to explore their creativity, individuality and innovative thinking within the game. She is committed to helping each player reach their full potential, both individually and as part of a cohesive team. By integrating modern coaching tools, including video feedback and personalised one-on-one training sessions, Amalia’s focus will be on providing tailored development pathways that allow every player to grow and thrive.
Above all, she is excited to create a dynamic team culture that blends individual talent with collective identity, building a team that plays with purpose, passion, and unity.
